Scanned, cropped, and edited some of my scarves. This could have been much more interesting, but I had to use what I had lying around and well... I have a lot of scarves.
My landscape... On the Road is my favorite book, so I kind of based the imagery off of the very last paragraph of it, which I layered here. The background is a Turner painting called 'Sunrise with Sea Monsters' that kinda fit the mood. I scanned in this weird little sun decoration I had, along with a gel transfer I did in 2-D class that resembled a landscape. I played with the transparencies the most, along with the opacity of the soft erasers to get the glow-y feel.
